About Swim School Bryanston
Swim School Bryanston has been in operation since 2005. “I have a lifelong background in aquatics, and after spending a number of years in the learn-to-swim arena, it became clear that there is a desperate need to highlight Infant and child safety in and around water.”
Swim School Bryanston believes that it should not take longer than six weeks for children to learn to swim and pick up the necessary skills that could ultimately end up saving their lives. Through daily attendance, our structured approach builds the confidence of the child slowly and steadily.
“The Swim Safe Programme is simply the safest and most effective way to ensure your baby or toddler develops a life-long skill and love of the water”
STROKE WISE SQUADS AND WATERPOLO
The confidence and mastery of our young swimmers is sufficiently ahead of the curve due to our structured approach to teaching strokes.
Swim School Bryanston B Stroke-Wise program allows progression to the four strokes only once the fundamentals are correctly mastered. We don’t believe in the outdated method of teaching all 4 strokes at a young age, and then having to correct the resulting faults for years to come.
B SWIM SAFE
Why would you want to risk your child’s life?
The B Swim Safe Programme is designed to teach water safety skills and the ability to swim with the correct body position in a very short space of time.
The program is focused on swimming and water-safety – with an emphasis on the independent back float.
Swim School Bryanston’s COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME
Drowning is a leading cause of accidental death in children with special needs and learning to swim is the only way to prevent drowning.
Nokuthula gets swimming with the B’SwimSafe Program
In association with Nokuthula Special School, Brendan Varrie and Cathy Williams are excited to bring the B Swim Safe Program to the students of Nokuthula.
The Nokuthula gets Swimming with B Swim Safe initiative is therefore a long-term commitment to the school, the students, their families, and the greater community to ensure we bring the critical water survival skills and associated benefits of swimming to these children.
